Undergraduates: Interested students (ideally rising Sophomores) looking to obtain laboratory experience should contact Dr. Swinford-Jackson. Please include a CV, which should describe any relevant experience and coursework, GPA, major/minor, and intended graduation date. Minimum lab requirements include 10-12 hours per week during academic year, willingness to work with laboratory rodents, relevant major/coursework, >3.5 GPA. Ideal candidates are highly motivated, are interested in continuing research for the duration of their time at TAMU including summers, and have career goals that would benefit from research experience. Research for course credit is available through Neuroscience (NRSC 491) or Psychology (PBSI 491).
Graduate Students: Accepting Ph.D. students for Fall 2027 directly through the Behavioral and Cellular Neuroscience Doctoral Program in Psychology and rotation/students through the Graduate Training Program in Neuroscience.
